Effective Supervision

Join us Face-to-Face on Monday 19th June at the Yamuloong Center from 6pm - 8pm. There's a saying about having or needing eyes in the back of your head. The implication being that to keep children "safe" or "out of mischief" we need to have our eyes on them at all times. While supervision is a must for early education and care services, it is crucial that we look beyond the ability to see everyone at the same time!

Understanding Children's Behaviour

Join us Face-to-Face on Monday 3rd July at the Yamuloong Center from 6pm - 8pm. Building relationships with a child is vital to understand their intrinsic motivation and support their behaviour. This session will give educators tools to better understand the children in their care and positive ways to manage difficult situations.

Talking & Thinking Floorbooks

Join us Face-to-Face on Thursday 3rd and Thursday 31st August at the Yamuloong Center from 6pm - 8pm. This inspirational training course examines the place of consultation in the early years and how it can impact upon the planning process and educationalists’ practice. It is designed to look at the way we involve our children from birth planning their learning linked to the curriculum. It is essential to attend BOTH 2 hour training sessions in this series.

We are bringing our absolute favourite sessions and topics to the beautiful Lake Macqaurie for an inspiring 1 DAY conference event... and we want you to join us!

We will have workshops, covering a wide range of topics and interests, designed to support anyone working with children in long day care, preschools, family day care, OSHC and schools. Inspired EC will guide you to consider your unique context, engage in research and reflective practice, and evolve to meet the needs of the children, families and communities in which you work.

Wonder and Wisdom Watercolour Workshop

Join Vicki and Janette, your guides with over 20 years experience each in Early Childhood and Steiner teaching, on Saturday 22nd July for this engaging and interactive Watercolour Painting and Craft Workshop. Learn the qualities and nature of the 3 primary colours. How to imaginatively introduce the children to the colours and the use of their tools through story, songs and verses. We will discuss simple crafts for young children and the use of treasures from nature. Techniques in felting, finger knitting, simple stick weaving will be demonstrated. Parent and Educator Inquiries Welcome
