Be inspired with insights to spark your understanding of wellbeing in the early years.
We all know that every age and stage is unique, but how often do we stop and really think about the different ways in which children play as infants or as toddlers, or the way in which our physical environment can support these stages of development?
The early years of a child's life are vital for the development and wellbeing of both the physical and emotional brain. Creating places where infants and toddlers are respected, have opportunities for meaningful connection and play, and are celebrated for who they are and what makes them amazing, builds the right foundation for supporting their wellbeing.
During this workshop, Tash will share insights and understandings, as well as simple practices that make a difference in ensuring the wellbeing of both the physical and emotional brain for infants and toddlers. We will discuss "The five 5 R's" of infant practice; Relationships, Routines & Rhythms, Rights, Responsiveness, and Respect. We will also unpack theories and approaches that can inform our practice, and engage in reflection and discussion as a group.
