Put Down That Baby! Independence vs Interdependence | 1PM Wednesday 1st October, 2025

Wednesday October 1st, 2025

1:00pm (Sydney Time)

How often should we be holding babies? When should we be putting them down? While it can be tempting to enjoy an infant snuggle for as long as we can, unnecessary holding of an infant actually restricts their freedom of movement and their ability to gain independence and explore their world.

In this session, attendees will reflect on the importance of responsiveness and connection with infants, while recognising the need for independent exploration and discovery.
