Online Mini Courses

The Debrief Package

Pondering Play Mini Course
A mini course designed to unpack the importance of play, deepening the understanding of educators and enhancing our programs to really embrace play. As you explore who owns the play, you will be encouraged to shift expectations of what play looks like.
Brilliant Babies Mini Course
This jam packed mini-course is the perfect introduction or refresher for educators working with infants. With a focus on rights and respect, development basics, and programming, the content will spark deep reflection and support educators to be their very best for the infants in their care.
Loving Loose Parts Mini Course
A mini course designed to provide an understanding of what loose parts are, and the practicalities of using them within our settings. Learn how to share the benefits of loose parts play with colleagues, families and management.
Creating Yes Spaces Mini Course
This mini-course will support educators to understand the elements of both the physical environment and our own practice, that create places of YES for children. Learn about the characteristics required of adults in a "yes" space and what this means for us as educators.

We are delighted to introduce, as part of an ongoing collaboration with Worimi/Biripi man Uncle Wayne Anderson, this deep dive into the 8 Aboriginal Ways of Thinking developed as a pedagogy framework native to the Western Region of NSW.
"Every place, every People, has its own unique pedagogies. These 8 simple ones are merely a starting point for dialogue. Each school will engage in a different way, and can produces its own unique frameworks for Aboriginal education through dialogue with the community about local ways of doing things."
Larger Courses and Opportunities

Online Course - What's So Special About the Outdoors? (Introductory)
Through practical stories and examples, participants will unpack the challenges of outdoor play, the value of long periods of time outdoors and the practicalities for engaging with children in outdoor environments in meaningful ways.
Holding Space for Big Feelings
Children not only experience, but also express very intense emotions, which at times leave us, as Educators, overwhelmed, baffled and sometimes confused. This course will show you the science behind big feelings, stress and crying, consequences of suppressed emotions, how to hold space for crying and tantrums, and so much more.
