"Thank you Inspired. Appreciating the mini courses. I always pick up something new, which can be applied to my service and my life."
A mini course designed to unpack what effective supervision looks like and why it's so important.
The course is broken up into four lessons and the following is covered:
Lesson 1 - What is effective supervision?
Lesson 2 - What does effective supervision look like?
Lesson 3 - The challenges in effective supervision
Lesson 4 - The importance of effective supervision
Our mini courses are designed to be inspiring and practical - connecting theory, ideas and inspiration with strategies and actionable steps that will enhance your practice in your work with children.
Understand what is really required of us under the regulations, and what that looks like.
Consider ways to assess and overcome challenges in effective supervision.
With the Debrief Package services can now register multiple educators for a mini course, and book in a follow up live zoom session for a few weeks later with one of our trainers to reflect on the course.
The Effective Mini-Course is suited to anyone working with children. Services who are having challenges in relation to supervision of children will benefit greatly from this course.
We suggest that the mini course is the equivalent of 1hr of face to face learning, however we recognise that all learners are different. There is content within the course that may take additional time.
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation details with your login information.
You will have immediate access to the course, to complete in your own time. The course may include written content, images, videos, article links, ideas and inspiration.
All participants will complete a reflection/assessment which is personally responded to by one of our course facilitators before you receive your certificate.
A mini course supporting you to think deeply about your personal and service philosophy.
Through practical stories and examples, participants will unpack the challenges of outdoor play, the value of long periods of time outdoors and the practicalities for engaging with children in outdoor environments in meaningful ways.
