A family day care service that is committed to supporting educators to explore their natural environments and communities, to encourage healthy risk taking, and to embrace the uniqueness of each educator, home and community.
Join the Inspired Family Day Care community! Whether you are a family looking for care or an educator looking for change, we can support you!
Our story began in In 2013, when our Inspired EC co-founders Tash and Nicole, were presenting a workshop on risky play at a conference. The audience of Family Day Care educators loved the content of the workshop, but their number one comment - our scheme won't let us do that. While Tash and Nic's initial response was 'pester your scheme!' (with the knowledge and research to back you up, of course!), the question came at them 'why don't you start a family day care scheme?' It wasn't the first time that someone had suggested this, and it wouldn't be the last.
Tash and Nic reflected on what it could look like to develop a family day care service that was committed to supporting educators to explore their natural environments and communities, to encourage healthy risk taking, and to embrace the uniqueness of each educator, home and community.
In 2014 - Inspired Family Day Care was born and the team couldn't be prouder of what has been created. We now have educators in NSW, QLD and VIC, with hundreds of children reaping the benefits of a magical childhood.

"I worked with Inspired Family Day Care when I was offering my home based nature play programs. It was a relief to find a scheme that valued children's play in terms of adventure and exploration. If you are thinking of providing a home based service for children that values play and nature connection then please take a look at Inspired."
We value our authentic relationships with our educators. Our mentors and nominated supervisors regularly visit educators and provide ongoing support in the implementation of programs, the development of practice and ongoing professional growth. Educators have benefits such as:

What does Inspired FDC offer Children?
We know just how big a step it is, leaving your child in child care for the very first time. As mama's ourselves, our team understands the emotional toll that this decision can take on the whole family. With brilliant educators and dedicated service staff, we make the process an enjoyable one.
Inspired Family Day Care operates in four states: NSW, QLD and VIC. We have educators in each state who operate from their homes, with many also including excursions into the natural environment and wider community, in their daily programs.
Our educators are supported with ongoing professional development and mentorship, and our service is assessed under the National Quality Framework. Each family day care educator has the freedom and flexibility to provide a unique program and environment, so we recommend contacting our head office and we can put you in touch with an educator in your area, to help you find the right fit for your family.
If you want a magical, wonder-filled childhood for your little one, you will find it with Inspired FDC. At Inspired, we pride ourselves on building meaningful relationships with families. As each educator home is different, your child may experience a vast range of opportunities while in care, including:
Inspired FDC collaborates with educators when setting fees. Fees will vary depending on the educator you enroll with. At the time of enrolment, families are provided with a schedule of fees that outlines their hourly/daily rate, what is included in fees and any additional charges and levies.
Eligible families will receive child care subsidies and our accounts team can support you through that process. For information on government fee assistance through the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) head to the Services Australia website here:

To find out more about an individual educator's fees please contact the mentor in your state or territory. We can't wait to meet your child and your family.Â

Inspired EC would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, live and play. We feel privileged to share this land and the knowledge that is held within it. We pay our respects to Aboriginal elders past, present and emerging. We commit to working in partnership with Aboriginal communities and to inspiring and supporting those in the early childhood profession to do the same. We hope that you also identify, connect and respect those who have looked after the land you are on for tens of thousands of years. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
