If you've taken Bonnie's first three courses in this fantastic sensory processing suite, then you will love this fourth course - Supporting educators to support families of children with disability, developmental delay, or difficulties!
So many educators will be familiar with the term "sensory processing' but may not be comfortable with what that actually means.
In this fourth course, Bonnie discusses the links between Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention and the National Quality Framework to guide educators in developing Family Centered, culturally responsible practice.
You will finish this course with an overwhelming amount of new information and knowledge regarding sensory processing and why it is so important in our work with children.
Bonnie shares insight into how family life plays a central role in planning intervention of their children's health and behaviour.
Using detailed explanations and support visuals, Bonnie explores the parallels between best practice and the National Quality Standards.
Gain a deeper understanding of the best ways to approach difficult conversations with families and children.
The course is suited to anyone working with children in long day care, preschools, family day care, OSHC and schools.
We suggest that the mini course is the equivalent of 1-1.5hrs of face to face learning, however we recognise that all learners are different. There is content within the course that may take additional time.
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation details with your login information.
You will have immediate access to the course, to complete in your own time. The course may include written content, images, videos, article links, ideas and inspiration.
All participants will complete a reflection/assessment which is personally responded to by one of our course facilitators before you receive your certificate.

Children not only experience, but also express very intense emotions, which at times leave us, as Educators, overwhelmed, baffled and sometimes confused. This course will show you the science behind big feelings, stress and crying, consequences of suppressed emotions, how to hold space for crying and tantrums, and so much more.
"I feel more motivated already!""
