Supporting Emergent Curriculum and Long-term Planning as Educational Leader
A Professional Development, Networking and Support Meeting for Educational Leaders
Join fellow Educational Leaders for a reflective discussion exploring the relationship between emergent curriculum and long-term planning. Together, we will reflect on how to support educators in being responsive to children's interests, ideas, and inquiries while maintaining intentionality and direction in their planning.
This session provides an opportunity to share perspectives, unpack challenges, and explore strategies for balancing child-led learning with thoughtful, purposeful planning that supports ongoing growth and development.
This session will include approximately 45 minutes of facilitated professional conversation, with an additional 15 minute Q&A.
When: Sep 23, 2026 11:30 AM (Sydney Time - AEST)
What to bring?
- Your face: We would love your camera on when you join the conversation!
- Your challenges and ideas: We would love to hear what you are working on at the moment, to share inspiration and to problem-solve with other participants!
What if I can't make it live?
Will I receive a certificate?
