"Inspired EC deliver a wide variety of Mini Courses to continually expand our Professional Development."
A mini course designed to give you information to springboard you to further discussion, research and reflection in your practice with infants.
The course is broken up into four lessons and the following is covered:
Lesson 1 - Infant Development
Lesson 2 - Rights and Respect
Lesson 3 - Engaging Environments
Lesson 4 - All about rights and respect
Our mini courses are designed to be inspiring and practical - connecting theory, ideas and inspiration with strategies and actionable steps that will enhance your practice in your work with children.
Using an understanding of how infants play and recommended resources, you will be able to create environments that are not simply a "mini preschool room."
Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of connection and respect in our interactions. Learn how you can respect the rights of infants in your setting.
You will be introduced to our "Magic in the moment" approach to programming for infants and learn practical strategies you can use when planning and documenting.
With the Debrief Package services can now register multiple educators for a mini course, and book in a follow up live zoom session for a few weeks later with one of our trainers to reflect on the course.
Perhaps you have never worked with infants before, or simply wish to refresh your skills and mindset around this really important work. Inspired EC mini courses are suited to anyone working in the early education and care sector. This mini course is designed to support anyone working with children in long day care, preschools, family day care, OSHC and schools. Inspired EC will guide you to consider your unique context, engage in research and reflective practice, and evolve to meet the needs of the children, families and communities in which you work.
In addition to previously working as educators, nominated supervisors and educational leaders, we currently are the approved providers for Inspired Family Day Care - a service that we started due to demand for nature based, risk friendly and community focused family day care.
This current, practical experience sets us apart - we understand where you are at... because we are right there with you!
We suggest that the mini course is the equivalent of 1hr of face to face learning, however we recognise that all learners are different. There is content within the course that may take additional time.
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an email confirmation including details of your login information.
You will have immediate access to the course, to complete in your own time. The course may include written content, images, videos, article links, ideas and inspiration.
All participants will complete a reflective assessment which is personally responded to by one of our course facilitators before you receive your certificate. Once this reflection has been completed we advise you will receive your certificate of completion within 3-5 business days.
A mini course designed to explore what genuine belonging looks and feels like for children, families and educators.
A recording of a session with our own Nicole Halton in January 2021, exploring the keys to programming for babies and how we can find the magic in every day moments.
"I love the idea of the magic in the moment in relation to programming - it makes it so much simpler!""
