"Thank you Inspired. Appreciating the mini courses. I always pick up something new, which can be applied to my service and my life."
A mini course empowering educators to embrace risky play in their early childhood settings.
The course is broken up into four lessons and the following is covered:
Lesson 1 - What is risk?
Lesson 2 - How does risk benefit children?
Lesson 3 - Risk and Regulations
Lesson 4 - Challenges and how to overcome them
Our mini courses are designed to be inspiring and practical - connecting theory, ideas and inspiration with strategies and actionable steps that will enhance your practice in your work with children.
Learn the different types of risky play that children tend to engage in and how they can be supported within your setting.
Gain a deeper understanding of the physical and emotional benefits of risky play and how to assess and express these.
The Reflecting on Risk Mini-Course is suited to anyone working with children, but particularly those who are ready to step out of their comfort zone and embrace more risk in their settings.
We suggest that the mini course is the equivalent of 1hr of face to face learning, however we recognise that all learners are different. There is content within the course that may take additional time.
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation details with your login information.
You will have immediate access to the course, to complete in your own time. The course may include written content, images, videos, article links, ideas and inspiration.
All participants will complete a reflection/assessment which is personally responded to by one of our course facilitators before you receive your certificate.
