Courageous Conversations with Staff and Families
A Professional Development, Networking and Support Meeting for Nominated Supervisors
Courageous conversations are those that feel risky but are essential for children’s safety, wellbeing and quality care. They might include raising concerns about practice or compliance with educators, or about a child's development or wellbeing with a parent.
For Nominated Supervisors, these conversations are part of your legal and leadership responsibilities under the National Law and NQF (especially Quality Areas 4, 5 and 6). This is your opportunity to join Nicole Halton, experienced Nominated Supervisor and early childhood consultant, for an online, professional conversation focused on what this looks like in your service.
What to bring?
- Your face: We would love your camera on when you join the conversation!
- Your challenges and ideas: We would love to hear what you are working on at the moment, to share inspiration and to problem-solve with other participants!
This session will include approximately 45 minutes of facilitated professional conversation, with an additional 15 minute Q&A.
What if I can't make it live?
Will I receive a certificate?
