Who are we?

Our story began in 2008 when Inspired EC was co-founded by Tash Treveton and Nicole Halton, who had formed an instant connection when they began working together in a preschool room back in 2003.

How can Inspired EC Support your service?

In the coming page, we will highlight in more detail how we can support your service or organisation in relation to the 5 Priority Areas. For those who have not worked with us before, here is an outline of what we do: 

  • Training and Events: We offer both public and private training and workshops, including face-to-face events, service visits, connecting during team meetings via Zoom, and self-paced online training. We also regularly attend conferences, face to face and online, as both speakers, and to exhibit our resources.
  • Coaching and Consultancy: We love to offer long-term mentoring and coaching. We offer services focused on developing 1:1 leadership skills for Educational Leaders and Nominated Supervisors, as well as practice-based coaching where our experienced consultants will provide in-the-moment feedback in a group setting by joining your team on the floor during a service visit.
  • Playground Development: Our process for playground design and development is quite unique in its collaborative nature. We work closely with your educators, management, families, community and perhaps most importantly - the children, to create spaces that are playful, natural and inspiring.
  • We are the Approved Providers for Inspired Family Day Care. Operating in NSW, QLD, and VIC.
  • We are the Certified Provider for TimberNook Newcastle.
  • We develop and stock a range of resourcesthrough the Inspired Natural Play Store.
  • We write blog posts, articles and books.

Online and In-House Training Packages

We believe it is most beneficial to services and educators, when we work together over a period of time. While we do have options for "one-off" training and consultancy, our recommendation is an ongoing plan which allows your team to build on their knowledge and be supported in the implementation of any changes to practice.

We can work with your team to provide a custom quotation, and have provided some popular package options below:

12 Month Online Training Package

Following an initial 1hr meeting with your service or organisation's Educational Leader and/or Nominated Supervisor to determine your service needs, strengths and challenges, we will provide you with a proposed training schedule which includes:

  • 6 Hours of Training; to be delivered to your team bi-monthly via Zoom.
  • 6 Hours of Coaching; to be delivered to your Educational Leader bi-monthly via Zoom.
  • 6 Custom Workbooks; to be delivered in digital format following each training session, to support additional reflection, and implementation by your team.

This proposal will be flexible according to the journey of your team, and we will work with you throughout the process to ensure we are meeting the needs of your staff, children, and families.

4 Pack In-House Training Package

Following an initial 1hr meeting with your service or organisation's Educational Leader and/or Nominated Supervisor to determine your service needs, strengths and challenges, we will provide you with a proposed training schedule which includes:

  • 8 Hours of Training; to be delivered to your team as four 2-hour workshops at your location. These may be delivered as part of professional development days, or across the year.
  • 4 Hours of Coaching; to be delivered to your Educational Leader via Zoom.
  • 4 Custom Workbooks; to be delivered in digital format following each training session, to support additional reflection, and implementation by your team.

This proposal will be flexible according to the journey of your team, and we will work with you throughout the process to ensure we are meeting the needs of your staff, children, and families.
