This workshop focuses on recognising schema in children’s play and using that knowledge to design meaningful environments and experiences. Educators will learn how to identify key movement and thinking patterns, then plan spaces and materials that meet those deep learning drives. Participants will leave with concrete ideas for setting up, rotating and adapting environments that truly match how children are currently learning.

Outcomes for Educators:

  • Ability to identify and interpret children’s schematic play patterns.

  • Strategies to design and adapt environments that meet intrinsic learning drives.

  • Skills for documenting schema-informed planning to show deep learning connections.
